Security audits in Adelaide
You can't fix what you can't see. A security audit gives you an honest, independent look at where your business is protected and where it's not. We check your network, systems, policies and configurations, then hand you a prioritised list of what to fix, written for humans and not just your IT team.

What is a security audit?
A security audit is a structured review of your IT environment to find weaknesses before an attacker does. It can include vulnerability scanning, configuration checks, policy reviews and, where needed, penetration testing. The result is a report that tells you where your risks are, how serious they are and what to do about them, in order of priority.
What we check
Network & infrastructure
Firewalls, switches, wireless access points and network segmentation reviewed for misconfigurations and known vulnerabilities.
Endpoint security
Laptops, desktops and servers checked for patching gaps, outdated protection and exposed services.
Cloud & Microsoft 365
Your cloud tenancy reviewed for overly permissive sharing, weak authentication and misconfigured security settings.
Access & privilege review
Who has admin access, who's left the business but still has credentials, and whether MFA is enforced where it should be.
Policy & process gaps
We check whether you have basic security policies and whether your team actually follows them.
Vulnerability scanning
Automated scans of your internal and external surfaces to identify known vulnerabilities ranked by severity.
Who it's for
- Businesses that haven't had a security review in over a year, or ever.
- Organisations preparing for compliance, tenders or cyber insurance renewal.
- Companies that have recently changed IT providers and want an independent check.
- Any Adelaide business that wants to know its actual risk level, not just hope for the best.
How it works
- Scope and agree. We define what's being audited (the full environment or a specific area) and set expectations.
- Gather information. We collect network diagrams, account lists, policies and any existing documentation.
- Test and scan. We run vulnerability scans, check configurations and review access controls across your systems.
- Report. You receive a clear, prioritised report with findings, risk ratings and practical recommendations.
- Walkthrough and next steps. We sit down with you to explain the results, answer questions and help you plan the remediation.

Security audit questions
How often should we get a security audit?
At least once a year, or whenever something significant changes, such as a new office, a new IT provider, a merger, or after a security incident. Some compliance requirements specify more frequent reviews.
Will the audit disrupt our business?
Most of the work happens in the background. Vulnerability scans run outside peak hours and we coordinate any access we need so your team isn't interrupted.
What's the difference between a security audit and a penetration test?
A security audit is a broad review of your defences, configurations and policies. A penetration test is a focused exercise where we actively try to break in. We often include elements of both, depending on what you need.
Do you provide a certificate or compliance report?
We provide a detailed findings report with risk ratings. If you need something formatted for an insurer, auditor or regulatory body, we can tailor the output to suit.
