Email hosting
Not every business needs Microsoft 365. If you want professional addresses on your own domain, a mail app that just works and a few shared inboxes like info@ and accounts@, our email hosting does the job without a per-user bill. Mail is stored in Australia and backed up every day.

The short answer
WaTo Consulting's email hosting gives you 10 mailboxes on your own domain on Australian cPanel servers, with unlimited storage, webmail, spam filtering and daily backups. It works with Outlook, Apple Mail and phone mail apps. Businesses that need Teams, shared calendars or Office apps are better on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, which WaTo also sets up.
Email hosting or Microsoft 365?
Email hosting is mail and nothing else: addresses, mailboxes, webmail and filtering. Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace bundle email with calendars, file sharing, chat and Office apps, and charge per person. If your team lives in shared calendars and Teams, go with 365. If you mostly need reliable email on your domain, email hosting is simpler and usually cheaper.
What you get
10 mailboxes, unlimited storage
Up to 10 mailboxes for staff and shared addresses like info@ and accounts@, with no cap on how much mail they hold.
Works with any mail app
Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird and the mail apps on iPhone and Android, using standard IMAP and SMTP.
Webmail
Read and send mail from any browser when you're away from your own computer.
Spam filtering
Incoming mail checked for spam and viruses before it reaches the inbox, with stronger filtering available for busy addresses.
Set up to be delivered
SPF, DKIM and DMARC records configured on your domain so your mail lands in inboxes, not junk folders.
Daily backups in Australia
Mail stored on Australian servers and backed up every day, so a deleted folder can be brought back.
Who it's for
- Small businesses that want professional email on their domain without a per-user subscription.
- Businesses still using a Gmail, Bigpond or internet provider address that want to look established.
- Shared inboxes and role addresses that don't need a full Microsoft 365 licence each.
- Anyone whose website is hosted with us and wants email in the same account.
How it works
- Tell us the addresses. List the people and shared addresses you need. Add more yourself later in cPanel.
- We set up the domain. MX, SPF, DKIM and DMARC records configured so mail flows in and out properly.
- We bring your old mail across. If you're moving from another provider, existing messages and folders come with you.
- We connect your devices. Phones, laptops and desktops set up, or clear instructions if you'd rather do it yourself.
Why WaTo for email hosting
- We'll tell you honestly whether email hosting, Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace suits you. We set up all three.
- Deliverability is part of the setup, not something you find out about when invoices go to spam.
- Moving from another provider is handled for you, folders and all.
- Adelaide owned and operated since 2001. When mail stops, you call a local person.
Email hosting questions
What's the difference between email hosting and Microsoft 365?
Email hosting is mail only: 10 mailboxes on your domain with unlimited storage, for one price. Microsoft 365 adds calendars, Teams, OneDrive and Office apps, and is charged per user. Many businesses use 365 for staff and email hosting for the website and shared addresses.
Can I use Outlook with email hosting?
Yes. It works with Outlook, Apple Mail and phone mail apps over IMAP, so messages stay in sync across every device.
Is email included with your web hosting?
Yes. Every web hosting plan includes email on your domain. A separate email hosting plan suits businesses whose website lives elsewhere, or who want unlimited mailbox storage.
Will my old emails come across?
Yes. We copy existing messages and folders from your current provider before switching the domain's mail records.
Why do my emails go to spam?
Usually because the domain's SPF, DKIM or DMARC records are missing or wrong. We set those up as part of every email hosting account.
Where is my email stored?
On Australian servers, with daily backups also kept in Australia.
How much does email hosting cost?
Email hosting starts from $18 a month per domain, billed monthly. Business plans include email hosting as standard.
