Wi-Fi troubleshooting and repair in Adelaide
Office Wi-Fi slow, dropping out or dead in the back rooms? We come out, find what is actually causing it and fix it. Most of the time that means changing settings, moving or adding an access point, or sorting out the internet connection, not replacing everything.

The short answer
WaTo Consulting fixes bad Wi-Fi for Adelaide businesses. We test whether the problem is the internet or the Wi-Fi, check coverage and interference around the building, then fix the cause: channel and settings changes, firmware updates, better placed or extra access points, or a call to the internet provider when that is the fault.
What a Wi-Fi repair visit covers
A technician tests the internet connection on a cable, measures the Wi-Fi signal in the rooms where people work, checks the router and access point settings and looks for interference from neighbouring networks. You get the problem fixed where it can be fixed on the day, and a clear, priced recommendation if new equipment is genuinely needed.
What we check and fix
Internet or Wi-Fi?
A cable test at the router tells us straight away whether the internet service or the wireless network is the problem.
Weak spots
We measure signal strength around the office, warehouse or shop to find the rooms where devices struggle.
Crowded channels
Neighbouring networks often sit on the same channels. We move yours to clearer ones.
Settings and firmware
Old firmware, wrong settings and default passwords cause dropouts and security gaps. We update and tidy them.
Access point placement
Sometimes moving an access point a few metres fixes a dead zone. Sometimes one more is needed. We tell you which.
Guest and device separation
Card terminals, printers and guests get their own space on the network so they stop slowing each other down.
Who it is for
- Offices where video calls freeze or files open slowly in some rooms.
- Shops, cafes and clinics where card terminals or tablets keep dropping off.
- Warehouses and workshops with racking, long distances or more than one building.
- Businesses that bought a new router or mesh kit and still have problems.
How it works
- Tell us what is happening. Where it is bad, when it happens and what stops working. A photo of the router helps.
- We test on site. Internet on a cable first, then Wi-Fi coverage and interference where your people actually work.
- We fix what we can on the day. Settings, channels, firmware and placement changes are usually done during the visit.
- You get a straight recommendation. If equipment is needed, you get a priced list and the reason for each item before anything is bought.

Wi-Fi repair questions
Who can fix bad Wi-Fi in my office in Adelaide?
WaTo Consulting does on-site Wi-Fi troubleshooting and repair for Adelaide businesses. We find whether the problem is the internet, coverage, interference or equipment, and fix that cause.
Why does our office Wi-Fi keep dropping out?
Common causes are devices at the edge of coverage, neighbouring networks crowding the same channels, an overloaded or ageing router, and out-of-date firmware. A site visit shows which one it is.
Can you fix it without buying new equipment?
Often, yes. Channel changes, firmware updates, better settings and moving an access point fix a lot of problems. We only recommend new equipment when the existing gear genuinely cannot do the job.
How do I know if it is the internet or the Wi-Fi?
Plug a laptop into the router with a cable and run a speed test. If it is also slow on the cable, the internet service or router is the problem. If the cable is fine, it is the Wi-Fi.
Do you work on any brand of router or access point?
Yes. We work with the equipment you have, including NBN provider routers, consumer mesh kits and business systems like Ubiquiti UniFi.
