Malwarebytes: protection that someone actually watches
Antivirus only helps if someone acts on what it finds. We put ThreatDown by Malwarebytes on every computer, and its alerts come straight to us, so a threat gets dealt with the same day, often before you knew it was there.

What is ThreatDown by Malwarebytes?
ThreatDown is the business edition of Malwarebytes. It blocks malware, ransomware, exploits and dangerous websites on each computer, and reports to a central console. The EDR edition (endpoint detection and response) also watches for suspicious behaviour and can isolate an infected machine and roll back ransomware changes.
What you get
Blocks the common attacks
Malware, ransomware, exploits and known phishing sites stopped before they run.
Alerts come to us
Our team sees detections as they happen and can push fixes and updates remotely.
Fits with the rest
Works alongside MFA, backups and Microsoft 365 email filtering as one layer of protection.
Meets supplier requirements
Helps with security questionnaires from defence, banking, medical and government customers.

Who it's for
- Businesses relying on free or consumer antivirus that nobody checks.
- Offices that handle customer, health or financial data.
- Suppliers asked to prove their endpoint security.
- Anyone who has had a close call with ransomware or a dodgy email.
How we roll it out
- Take stock. We list every Windows PC, Mac and server that needs covering and remove old antivirus that would clash.
- Deploy remotely. The agent goes on each machine in the background. No downtime for your team.
- Tune the policies. We set what gets blocked, what gets flagged and who hears about it.
- We watch it. Detections come to our team, and we act on them and tell you what happened.
Why get Malwarebytes through WaTo
- A detection is handled by a person, not left as a pop-up nobody reads.
- One team for the protection, the PCs and the clean-up if anything gets through.
- Honest advice on whether you need EDR or the standard edition.
- Adelaide owned since 2001.
Malwarebytes questions
Do I need this if I have Windows Defender?
Defender is a reasonable baseline, but on its own nobody is watching its alerts. With ThreatDown the detections come to our team and get acted on. We'll tell you honestly if Defender is enough for your situation.
Does it work on Macs?
Yes. ThreatDown covers Windows and macOS computers as well as Windows servers.
Standard or EDR?
For most offices handling sensitive data we recommend EDR: it can isolate an infected machine and roll back ransomware changes. Small offices with low risk can start on the standard edition.
